Terzo Settore
Established by the Fondazione Roma through the incorporation of the “Fondazione Italiana per il Volontariato” (FIVOL) into the “Fondazione Europa Occupazione e Volontariato: Impresa e Solidarietà” (FEO), the aim of the Fondazione Roma Terzo Settore is to promote projects of public benefit even for the purpose of encouraging the creation of new jobs, supporting social firms and voluntary work of all kinds, performing research on the subject matter of voluntary work and community support as well as to manage the ‘Compagnia Sviluppo Imprese Sociali S.p.A.’ and the ‘Fondazione Miglioranzi’ of which it holds shares.Support and encouragement of projects based on the values of mutual aid, social support and inclusion and the promotion of the less fortunate is accomplished though the “Sportello della Solidarietà (Helpdesk)”.
The helpdesk receives and selects requests for funding submitted by local non profit bodies in order to issue grants in the various sectors in which it is involved, from Health to Art and Culture, Education to Voluntary work and Scientific Research.
