Operative principles

In the past few years the profile of the Fondazione Roma has become such as to free and diversify it from the former banking foundations’ historical role and develop an independent ability to plan, in the belief that by setting in motion energy and ideas aimed at offering innovative solutions it would have been possible to find more efficient solutions to the complex problems that assail civil society.

Thanks to a direct relationship with other parties in the local social fabric, which faced with today’s rising difficulties are challenged by increasing responsibilities, the Foundation has been able to create complex and long term projects of great social impact in the five important sectors in which it decided to operate.

Using the so called “operating model” the Foundation generally implements its own activities. This allows it to be very dynamic precursor, capable of detecting the emerging needs of civil society and accomplish projects aimed at giving a prompt and efficient solution.
